About the project

Escaping Expectations is my first travel film. It was shot across the surreal landscapes of Indonesia.

What began as a personal escape turned into something much deeper. We wandered through volcanic

lands, got lost in mountain fog, rode across lush green fields, and shared trails with kind strangers

that we now call friends. I didn’t go there with a plan. I went to feel something and ended up capturing

moments that felt bigger than I expected.
